John Wesley described this work in simple, practical terms:

Putting our faith into action is at the very heart of our Christian calling. Every person in the church has the opportunity to serve and to live their calling more faithfully. The people of Pioneer United Methodist Church have prayerfully chosen where we as a church will assist throughout the year with our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our service.
