Feeding the Homelesss - Matthew 25:31-40

We are excited to share that we provide a monthly meal to the Watkins Overflow Shelter.

On the 4th Friday of each month we have members of all ages come together to prepare and serve a hot hearty meal to families and women who currently stay at the center.

Our family’s experience working with the church to help people in need by serving food to the homeless was priceless. We were honored to be invited to help out and our little contribution to the cause was a blessing for us to be a part of. The individuals that we served were all very gracious and they touched our heart and soul. To be a part of feeding the poor and homeless was amazing. Providing food for them put a huge smile on my face and made me feel great! It made me realize I need to appreciate everything I have because some people don’t have anything. To see their faces light up and smile when I handed them their plate of food was wonderful.
